Does a copper foil tape need conductive adhesive?
It depends on where the current has to go. If the shield only needs to bond and the drain path runs through a mechanical ground, a plain acrylic adhesive is enough. If current has to pass through the adhesive layer to the substrate, the adhesive itself has to be conductive. State the grounding path before choosing.
